Filming inside an open cast coal mine

I spent yesterday morning in a deep coal pit filming direct action protest which shut down the UK's largest open cast mine. Creating utter devastation to obtain fossil fuels to burn- insane. I recall filming the same place 15 years ago and it was trees and meadows. Now it is black with no signs of life.

I edited a 2min piece for 350.org and Reclaim the Power campaign group. It was the first time I have ever had footage from a drone to use in one of my videos. It supplied  stunning images so watch the video and see what you think. Learn more about the protest here
