Ben Law interview- an insight into an eco-pioneer

Ben's passion for permaculture living led him to live semi-outdoors for over ten years before obtaining planning permission to build a permanent woodland house in his beloved Prickly Nut Woods during 2002/3. UK's Channel 4 Grand Designs programme charted the construction of Ben's beautiful woodland house and propelled Ben from a humble woodsman to something of a celebrity (his house voted the most popular by viewers and Ben hand-cutting 12,000 wooden roof tiles probably helped).
Ben went from scratching a meagre living by producing charcoal and timber furniture to now training apprentices and running courses on sustainable woodland management, eco-building and permaculture design. He also runs "The Roundwood Timber Framing Company Limited" and is the author of four books and DVD presenter

Ben is winning. He is thriving and doing what he loves; creating a world he wants to see, a world with some hope for the next generation. Ben has become part of the permaculture campfire mythology. Listen to Ben's inspiration and compelling account of his winning journey.
