Undercurrents in The Mirror newspaper

Helen from Undercurrents was profiled in the Mirror this week
Helen Iles has been producing films promoting positive environmental and social change for over a decade as part of The Undercurrents Foundation, an award winning alternative news service producing videos of people taking inspiring actions. Helen was the 2009 Digital Heroes for Wales.

The Undercurrents Foundation trains people who have little or no experience of digital media to create short films about their lives and concerns and enables them to share these films online and screen them in its Solar Cinema.
Helen and her team work with people who have little or no experience of digital media to help them create short films about their lives and concerns and share them online and in their solar cinema. It can be a very empowering process and can give participants the confidence to explore the internet further.
