Funding for projects

The Millennium Stadium Charitable Trust operates three application rounds a year,
one for each type of organisation ? local, regional and national. Applications are
now being accepted from national organisations that have a remit to cover the whole
of Wales and that are operating in the majority of counties in Wales. Eligible
organisations include not-for-profit organisations; properly constituted voluntary
organisations; charitable organisations; and voluntary groups working with local
authorities. Grants of up to £12,500 are available for projects in four categories,
one of which is arts. The Trust is keen to support arts projects that are creative,
unique and work with disadvantaged or deprived individuals and groups throughout
Wales. In particular, the Trust wishes to develop and improve the knowledge and
practice of the arts and to increase opportunities for people to see and participate
in the arts throughout Wales. The deadline for applications is 12 noon, 21 April
2011. For more information, go to www.millenniumstadiumtrust.co.uk
