Amnesty TV seeks video crew for paid work

Creative all-rounder need for immediate (or thereabouts) start on a new
initiative from Amnesty International. Amnesty TV is a bi-weekly factual
entertainment magazine show, produced in-house alongside our long list of
creative/ celebrity supporters. The show will play a large part of
Amnesty's 50th anniversary messaging, which rolls out late May 2011.
Amnesty TV will be hosted online via a premium Youtube channel, as a
featured download on iTunes and on the website of a national broadsheet
newspaper. This will be supported by a full PR and social media campaign.

Amnesty TV will be 50% Newsnight and 50% Modern Toss, blending hard news
and human rights messaging with stunts, satire and entertainment - the kind
of show you'd expect to see if Amnesty were given a Friday night slot on
C4. We require a shooting producer/ editor with creative flair and comic
timing. This is a full time freelance postion lasting 3-4 months. A full
time permanent position will be advertised shortly thereafter. Pay ranges
from 750 - 850 p/w.
Start date is April/ May and we are interviewing soon. Please send
showreel links to neil.boorman@amnesty.org.uk
