Polden-Puckham Charitable Foundation

The Foundation makes grants under two main categories: Peace and Sustainable
Security and Environmental Sustainability. The Foundation funds organisations that
are working to influence policy, attitudes and values at a national or international
level. These may be single issue groups working to achieve a particular change, or
organisations with a broader remit. They give particular consideration to small
pioneering headquarters organisations. Although primarily supporting UK registered
charitable NGOs, they also support organisations or projects that are not UK
registered charities if they can indicate a UK registered charity that is able to
receive funds on their behalf. They usually give grants of between £5,000 and
£15,000 per year, for up to three years; and support organisations for whom this
would represent between 5 per cent and 50 per cent of their annual income
(organisations with an annual income of between £10,000 and £300,000 approximately).
Larger organisations are ineligible for funding. The deadline for applications is 1
September 2011.
