Children will get the chance to build a pedal-powered scalextric track, take part in craft activities and try their hand at making solar sun prints.Taking centre stage will be a Sinclair C5, a solar-powered car and an award-winning solar-powered trike designed by 19 year old Shawn Brown, who recently won the UK Young Engineer of the Year Award. Also, don't miss an amazing pedal-powered strawberry smoothy machine!

The event will also be joined by Brian Spinks from Swansea Astronomical Society who will show how to view the sun safely with a special solar telescope (weather permitting).

Also the team from Undercurrents will demonstrate how to make solar-powered films.

With all that and more, this is definitely a top green event to add to your list of things to do this summer!
